Run by Train Together London
At Train Together London, we believe that when women are supported, communities become stronger. The Women’s Wellbeing Hub was created as a gentle, welcoming space where women can pause, breathe and feel less alone in what they are carrying.
Many women in our local community are juggling enormous responsibilities — caring for children or elderly relatives, navigating financial pressures, adjusting to life in a new country, rebuilding after domestic abuse, or simply trying to hold everything together for everyone else. The Women’s Wellbeing Hub exists to offer space for those women.
This is not a programme or an intervention. It is a safe, respectful environment rooted in compassion, dignity and community. A place to sit with a cup of tea, to have a conversation without judgement, to take part in a calming activity, or simply to rest.
We are particularly passionate about welcoming:
Women experiencing isolation
Survivors of domestic abuse
Carers
Women facing housing insecurity or homelessness
Asylum seekers and women new to the area
Mothers, grandmothers and retired women
Any woman in need of connection and calm
The hub runs on the first and third Thursday of each month from 11.30am to 1.30pm at Unity Junction, St Nicholas Shopping Centre, Sutton (SM1). Attendance is free and no booking is required.
Throughout the morning, women can access different spaces depending on what they need that day. Our Craft Zone offers simple take-home creative activities such as crystal art, colouring and puzzles — gentle ways to de-stress and focus. Our Reflection Zone provides a quiet book corner with faith and wellbeing resources, along with an optional rosary group. At midday, we host a Midday Reset session including guided breathwork, meditation and armchair exercises — an opportunity to regulate, release tension and restore calm.
Everything is optional. Women are free to come and go, to participate or simply to sit.
